Toreros dealt tough loss against Saint Mary’s

The USD women's basketball team fell valiantly to the Saint Mary's Gaels in Moraga, Calif. Despite last Saturday's loss, the Toreros (14-12, 4-8 WCC) performed well offensively, with three players scoring in double digits. However, the Gaels (17-10, 9-3 WCC) were lifted by a 31-point performance from Jasmine Smith, which included a solid 13-14 outing from the free-throw line.
